Budgetary Commitment

Page 9: Corporate Giving Program

How it works…

• Employees participate in an FSA (Flexible Spending Account) plan at work and if they do not use all of the money at the end of the year, the funds are forfeited back to the company

• The company must claim the funds as taxable income

• The company makes a donation in the amount of the forfeiture and receives a tax deduction, offsetting the tax burden

Why we do it…

FACTS:

• Not everyone has access to hospice and long-term care.

• Have we made progress in caring for the dying?

• $109/day is average cost in lost wages and benefits to care for a loved one with a chronic illness.

• The aging of the population is expected to triple long-term care expenditures by 2040.

• Many will face serious problems attaining needed health and long-term care services in the future.

We know you have a choice…

• Why choose MedSupply Charitable Fund?

• All money donated as a result of forfeited employee funds, are dedicated to be used in exactly the same way they would have been used had the employee spent the money on their own families

• Collaboration is everything. We all succeed by empowering other organizations and individuals without the means to provide basic medical supplies

• Funding other organizations that are tightly aligned with your goals and mission is our purpose

• YOU are the reason we exist! We are YOUR liaison between your employees and the underfunded community
