DESIGN
A corporate network is to be designed which has its main office in New York and branches in New Delhi, Bangalore
and Jamshedpur. In various offices according to needs of that branch, particular protocol is used for effective intra
communication. After this for efficient inter communication between main office and branches a cloud server is
used.

Scenario at each office is given according to following
NEW YORK Main office of XYZ organisation is located in New York. Two primary switches are used, both multilayer switches to
enable inter VLAN routing. 6 pcs have been used to denote certain fields. A PAT router has been used to connect the
main branch

NEW DELHI Two switches are required for two floors of a corporate building. Both floors have similar 3 blocks. Requirement is
such that we require to establish connection between only that particular department eg R&D of ground floor can
only establish connection with R&D of 1st floor. Departments here include R&D, Infra & Consulting. Main router in
connected to switch on ground floor. A PAT router is required to translate the inside IPs to exterior Frame relay.

BANGLORE Bangalore being a huge it hub requires a more efficient network topology as the load will be more here. For this
purpose, the concept of VTP will be used. By VTP protocol we will create a server with domain name
programming.org which will be accessed by two clients. VLANs will be defined as default, C, CPP, JAVA & PYTHON.
Client switch will be connected to a PAT router not a main one to reduce chances of congestion.

JAMSHEDPUR
Jamshedpur being a moderate range town with not much clients. City being prone to server failures, to overcome
this HSRP protocol is used where on priority basis two server switches are used namely Mains and Standby. A virtual
IP is assigned which is used as gateway in division 1,2 &3. A PAT router is used which is connected to Main switch
server on one port and on the other to Frame relay.

FRAME RELAY – The Cloud Server REQUIREMENT
1.ROUTER 4 NOS for each destiNATion.
2.Cloud PT
STEPS___________________________________________________________________________ 1.Place the routers and cloud server
2.Assign IP to Head Office and to subsequent branches
3. write the command for Frame relay
COMMANDS______________________________________________________________________ Assign IP addresses to serial and fast Ethernet ports:
Router>enable
Router#config t
Router(config)#int s0/n or fa0/0 // n=0,1…n
Router(config)#IP add IP address subnet mask // range used here is of class A
Router(config)#no shut
Code for Frame Relay:
Router(config)#int s0/0
Router(config)#encapsulation frame-relay
Router(config)#no shut
SUBINTERFACES (This command will be performed for all the 3 sub offices)
Router(config)#int s0/0.dlci number
Router(config-subinterface)#IP add IP address subnet mask
Router(config-subinterface)#frame-relay inter dlci dlcinumber
Router(config-subinterface)#no shut
In the end all the ports of sub interfaces are connected from the cloud server from one end and with other end it
communicates to its respective office.
