HEDD®1 Handheld Explosive Detection Device HEDD®1 Handheld explosive detection for real-time and covert IED detection The HEDD®1 (Handheld Explosive Detection Device) is the solution for which many security operators have been looking for. HEDD®1 is setting new standards in handheld explosive and weapon detection based on its unique patented Magneto-Electrostatic Detection (MED) method. HEDD®1 forms a Modulated Magnetic Field (MMF) that allows detection of all types of commercial and military explosives including liquid explosives and weapons and ammunitions within a distance between 2-100 meters behind and through all types of barriers (including concrete, steel etc.). Allowing long-range detection up to 100 meters, the operator receives important information without a direct contact to the object or person that needs to be searched. (MMF)

HEDD®1 How does HEDD®1 work? The 50 Watt HID (Max HID 50)/ 70 Watt HID (Max HID 70) supplies professional users with highly visible white light, which is near daylight with a max. performance of 5.200 lumen. uniTAG VIP Tracking uniTAG VIP - Locating people and objects The uniTAG VIP tracking series enables the global -“passive” tracking of decision -makers for the first time, permitting a unique combination of security and privacy without the need to make compromises. The system is activated by the VIP in dangerous situations and enables you to input personalised security processes in case of emergency, as all of the functions can be programmed according to the requirements of the “key carrier”. The system enables positioning via GSM, GPS and active RFID, and also features a “call-in” function, which offers auditory reconnaissance in emergencies!


uniTAG Prisoner Tracking The uniTAG Prisoner tracking series enables the global tracking of prisoners and secured objects. All of the functions can be individually programmed according to the requirements of the prison security policy and also according to single prisoner movement rights. The system enables positioning via GSM, GPS and active RFID, and also features a “call-in” function, which offers auditory reconnaissance/ monitoring at any time. uniTAG Prisoner will now work up to 1 year without charging (on active stand-by). If the prisoner leaves the indoor area/ antenna coverage area, GSM and GPS modules will be switched-on immediately. Active monitoring of voice data is also possible (eavesdropping).


uniTAG Prisoner Tracking For prisoners, who are allowed to be outside the indoor prison area, a wireless induction charger component can be integrated. The range of the induction charger is 10 meters (US-certificate avail-able). Whenever the prisoner moves in this area, uniTAG Prisoner will be charged and charging through security personnel is not necessary. Alarm in case of sabotage and low-battery alarm are integrated.

uniTAG Pipeline Tracking

The uniTAG Pipeline will be fitted every 0,5 - 10 km (depending on environmental conditions and requirements) directly on the pipeline. The uniTAG Pipeline will be fixed with strong magnets on the pipeline and is secured against removal/ theft through a micro- switch. The uniTAG Pipeline can be programmed according to various detection modes (theft, sabotage, motion, heat etc.). Programming will be done through a Laptop connected to the micro USB interface.


uniTAG Pipeline Tracking As the uniTAG Pipeline can act as a transmitter and receiver at the same time, the customer can choose between different modes of operation: Off, clocked/synchronized (f.e. every 15 minutes), motion, motion while clocked (f.e. clocked every 15 minutes, but gives direct alarm on motion), repeater, monitor, Watchdog-programming (if security- or working personnel comes closer to the Tag, all info about this person will be distributed like position, time, duration of stay/ work etc.). The uniTAG Pipeline will continuously work with 5 years of standby and optionally can also be charged through an integrated solar panel. Software updates or changes in programming can be achieved via USB or alternatively “on the fly” (sending the programming code wireless).


uniTAG Infrastructure Tracking The uniTAG tracking series enables the global tracking of persons, vehicles, boats etc. and secured objects. All of the functions can be individually programmed according to the requirements of the security policy and also according to single movement/ access rights. Our products are available as RFID (active), GSM or GSM/GPS devices. The GSM- and GSM/GPS-TAGs are additionally equipped with an active RFID-transmitter, so an exact position can be determined on a hand-held tracker (f.e. PDA). Thus our modules offer versatile options to track objects or persons (also in buildings!) through indoor-GPS, outdoor-GPS, GSM or active RFID.


uniTAG GATE uniTAG Gate works with IR-Laser reflection and can also receive pre-programmed uniTAG info. Different access-/ pass permissions can be programmed on the uniTAG. uniTag holders (vehicles, personnel, objects...) are allowed to pass uniTAG GATE according to those permissions (f.e. in certain directions/ areas only). TAG IDs, permissions and pass directions can be monitored on uniTAG Hand-Trackers and/ or PCs/ Laptops and simultaneously send an alarm to the command & Control room. uniTAG GATE is very fast so that vehicles or objects can pass by with very high-speed (200 km/h) without loosing accuracy.

uniTTRONICA Public Security Mobile Video Surveillance System Van uniTTRONICA is a security alliance between unival® group and Elettronica GmbH. Together we provide high-end public security solutions for protection of governmental organizations. Evidence Collection and Documentation Vehicle based on a concept for the German Police Force and COMINT ("communications intelligence") Direction Finding Applications. This vehicle allows police forces to conduct video surveillance, record the collected data and pass them via a data link. In the default configuration, this is carried out via a camera installed on a mast system, which is available in Standard Definition (SD) and Hi- Definition (HD) variants. The video signal can be transferred via either an UMTS interface or a COFDM (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) interface. The COFDM interface can also be used to control and analyze cameras that are not built into the vehicle.

uniScan – Liquid Hazard Material detection uniScan is designed to be easy to set up and use. Weighing only 17kg and with no risk of ionizing radiation hazard the unit can be installed on any table top. An individual unit is completely self-contained requiring just a mains power supply. The switch on process takes just a few seconds and is fully automatic. The bottle or container under test is simply placed on the sensor plate and the results of the analysis will be displayed in one second accompanied by an optional acoustic signal. The default display settings are a simple green ‘pass’ and a red ‘fail’ although using the system software this can easily be configured to other colors and languages as required, non-latin characters on request. After analysis is complete and the container is removed the system recovers within 2 seconds and is ready for another measurement. An operator only needs to use one hand as the measurement process is fully automatic with no push button or switch operation required. If the unit needs to be moved it can be transported immediately after switching off (no warm up or cool down phase). In addition to liquid explosives, a signature database for more than 35.000 liquids is available that allows checking liquids like petrol, acetone or other hazardous substances. New liquid signatures can be programmed immediately.

Construction Security - upgrade of a presidential Suite in Germany The task was to manufacture and install windows in the presidential suite, where presidents and VVIPS from all over the world will stay, when visiting Germany. The hotel has a very modern construction and the requirement was to install high security windows and adapt them to the look of the modern architecture. The most important requirement of this upgrade was make sure that the windows and the whole façade cannot be identified from the outside so that the security presidential suite cannot be localized. The complexity of the installation, was caused from the great height in which the installation was carried out and the thickness of the bullet-proof glass (the weight of each window was up to 450 kg).

Turn-Key Hydraulic Bollard System, Made in Germany Especially at high-risk areas the use of the unival® bollards allows to create larger protection zones around strategically areas in case of emergency, which is especially important for blast protection, as bigger distance means better protection. Impact resistant: 15.000 Joules, the unival® concealed bollard continues to operate and the safety is guaranteed. Break- in resistant: 630.000 Joules, partial or total breakage of the unival® concealed bollard, but the vehicle will be stopped within 1 meter of the collision point. Hydraulic bollards should be provided at least at each entrance / exit lane. Once a possible threat is identified, these bollards will prevent any vehicle from forced entry into the security area or prevent from leaving the area.

unival® Modular Protection Systems The need to stop and check vehicles once identified as a possible threat is a major requirement. Ballistic Wall provides a safe enclosure for the static checking of vehicles. The system protects personnel in a vehicle check area from the possibility of ballistic fragment injury, resulting from car bomb detonation but also inhibits rapid vehicle escape. Ballistic Wall also provides protective bays from which personnel can

operate whilst checking vehicles. Ballistic Wall can be installed as a permanent facility or can be assembled and disassembled quickly for operational use. Ballistic Wall as required and the system can be supplied in different sizes and colors as required by the user.
