HEALTHThe Lakson Group initiated the idea of “Free Eye Camps” in 1994.The Sahiwal hospital was completed at a cost of PKR 30 million and is the first specialized hospital for eye diseases in Qadarabad.The Swabi hospital was completed at a cost of PKR 32 million and is the first specialized hospital for eye diseases in Swabi(NWFP).A diabetic center was established at the Mardan hospital (NWFP) in 2005.

Halides • Furthermore company also installed Primary

Treatment Plant i.e. Dissolved Air Floatation

• (DAF) and reduced the TSS, BOD, COD values.

• Modified cyclone at straw cleaning plant and as a result of this they reduce 50% dust load.

• Company has also reduced their SOx and NOx emission by better operational control; and

• Conversion of power generator from furnace oil to natural gas.
