GIS and Facility IntelligenceManaging Offenders, Monitoring Crime, and Developing Knowledge

Using ArcGIS, corrections personnel can create an occupancy status floor plan.

A 3D representation of a correctional facility can be developed to under-stand vulnerabilities.

The New York City Probation Department uses ArcGIS to analyze and monitor rearrest locations for adults and juveniles in each of New York’s five boroughs.
