Costume Ideas

The top three images of female country costumes show the different costumes that I are used in music magazine articles. The first image of Miranda Lambert shows that she is wearing a light lime green shirt that has black embodied flowers down the sides of the buttons. I like this shirt because it shows the simplicity of the artist. The second image is of Taylor Swift where she is wearing a black top, this shows that she is dominant and also she has powerful songs within country music. This is an outfit that I want my model to be wear for the front cover of my music magazine.

In the image of Maddie and Tae they are wearing casual costumes for the cover of their music CD cover. They are wearing light blue coloured t-shirts that show the simplicity of the artists and their music. Also it emphasises the fact that the two artists are just like the audience of the magazine and that they don’t want to peruse themselves as being better or more powerful, instead they want to suggest that the audience can achieve success like they have.

• For a female artists she will wear a blue shirt paired with black leggings, this follows the traditional colours of country costumes. Also she will be posing with her body tilted forwards with her left hand on her hip. I chose this pose because it will show she is confident, also it will show her facial expression that will be of her smiling or laughing. This type of facial expression makes the audience feel happy and interested in what the article may be based on.
