Annexure - 2

Counseling / Seat Allotment Procedure:

The seat allotment will purely be through merit based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

total score in JEE (Main).

In the case of identical JEE (Main) PCM score the following tie-breaker rules will apply:

First tie breaker:Mathematics marks in JEE (Main) Second tie breaker:Physics marks in JEE (Main) Third tie breaker:Chemistry marks in JEE (Main) Fourth tie breaker:Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry total percentage in 12 thclass Fifth tie breaker:12thClass percentage

The applicants will have to deposit a Demand Draft of Rs. 25000.00 (Rs. Twenty five

thousand)only, drawn in favour of The LNM Institute of Information Technologypayable at

Jaipur. The counseling fee of Rs. 25000.00 (Rs. Twenty five thousand only) will be adjusted

towards the applicants fee for the first semester. Please note that no cash or cheque will be

accepted and the applicants will not be allowed to participate in the Admission Counseling

without depositing the said Demand Draft.

The applicants participating in the Admission Counseling may have the following options toexercise:

Option 3. Accept the offer of a

seat in WAITLIST

only

Pay the balance amount of Rs. 1,03,500.00 (Rs. One

lakh three thousand five hundred) only after the

applicant is offered a confirmed seat and within

three days from the declaration of seat allotment.

Seat allotment to the wait-listed applicants will

depend on admission cancellation and upward

movement. The applicant will be informed

regarding the seat allotment as per the schedule

given in Seat Allotment Announcement and Fee

Payment Schedule (see Annexure 1).

Option 4. Decline the offer of aconfirmed/ wait-listed

seat

Collect your Demand Draft of Rs. 25000.00 (Rs.Twenty Five Thousand only) that you deposited as the

counseling fee from the counseling desk on the same

day.

Note (Fee Payment): The balance amount of fee for the first semester can be paid using

online payment gateway through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or through ICICI

Bank Challan. More details of this will be communicated to the applicants at the time ofAdmission Counseling.

Important Note:Please make a note of the following important points:

1. Applicants declining the admission offer in the First Round of AdmissionCounseling will not be offered admission at a later stage.

2. Admission offer of the Applicants failing to pay the balance fee by the deadlinewill stand cancelled and they will be refunded Rs. 22000.00 (Twenty two thousand

only) after deducting the Registration Fee of Rs. 3000.00 only.

3. If the Institute fails to offer a seat to a waitlisted applicant in the category ofOption 3, the Counseling Fee of Rs. 25000.00 (Rs. Twenty Five thousand only)

will be refunded to her/him. In case the applicant declines the offer of his preferred

seat s/he will be refunded Rs. 22000.00 (Twenty two thousand only) after

deducting the Registration Fee of Rs. 3000.00 only.

4. The last date to withdraw a confirmed seat and apply for refund will be 30 July2014. Such applicants will be refunded the full fee after deducting the

Registration Fee of Rs. 3000.00 along with mess and hostel charges on the basis of

actual expanses (if hostel and mess facility is availed).

5. Applicants withdrawing their admission after 30 July 2014 will not be refundedany fee other than the caution money, unspent mess advance, and electricity, bus

and internet charges.

6. All refunds will be processed within 21-30 days after receiving a duly filledAdmission/Seat Allotment CancellationCum-Refund Form from the

applicants.
