Provincial Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe

The Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2017 (“Growth Plan, 2017”), builds upon the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2006, which provided a framework for implementing Ontario’s vision for building stronger, prosperous communities by better managing growth in this region. The Growth Plan, 2017 includes enhanced policy direction to respond to the key challenges that the region will continue to face to the horizon of the Plan and beyond. With some exceptions, most of the changes in the Proposed Growth Plan are carried through into the Growth Plan, 2017.
