LUEDINGHAUSEN YOUTH ORCHESTRA FROMGERMANY The Schuylerville Community Theater welcomesthe Salem Festival Chorus and the Luedinghausen YouthOrchestra from Germany to the SCT Stage in the SchuylervilleHigh School Auditorium on Thursday evening, August 15th at6 PM. Over 100 young, talented youth ages 13 to 21 will beperforming. The orchestra, is playing a medley from the Piratesof the Caribbean and the chorus and orchestra will perform amedley from Les Miserables. American-based songs sung by thechorus, also. The Concert is free and all are welcome. The students

will also perform in Salem at the High School at 6 PM onFriday, August 16th.

QUILT CRAFTED BY PIECEFUL VALLEY QUILTERS FORPATRIOT GUARD RIDERS FUNDRAISER During this past yearthe Pieceful Valley Quilters of Cambridge chose for their project apatriotic star designed quilt, which they will donate to the PatriotGuard Riders of New York. The Patriot Guard is staffed entirely byvolunteers and operates on donations. The Guards main mission is toaccompany fallen heroes and their families at funeral services so thatthere would be no disruption from possible protestors. The PatriotGuard, also, assists returning veterans with monetary needs and theadjustment back into civilian life when difficult issues surface. Thequilt will be raffled by the Guard as a fundraiser. The quilt will be ondisplay Wednesday, August 21st (Senior Day) at the WashingtonCounty Fair in the County Bounty Building.
