The purpose of this course is to provide the on-the-job training component when thecooperative method of instruction is appropriate. Emergency Medical Responder 3

The Emergency Medical Responder/First Responder (EMR/FR) program is a minimum of 1.0credit course developed to provide training in the provision of emergency care for those who arelikely to be the first medical personnel responding to the scene of an accident, fire, or medicalemergency. The emphasis of the course prepares the responder to address immediate life threatsand injuries until more highly trained personnel are available.
