Course in Practical English (B2 level)
The CEFR B2 course (IELTS band: 5.5–6.0) aims at developing such language skills as speaking, writing, reading and listening. The course prioritises authentic communicative activities reflecting the real-life situations in which the English language is used.
– Duration: October–June (600 hours) or October–February (300 hours)
– Deadline: 15 September
– Number of teaching hours: total – 600 hours (two semesters) and 300 hours (one semester), weekly – about 24 hours
There are about 24 teaching hours per week and they include the following modules:
– Reading and vocabulary focus (6 hrs.)
– Listening and speaking focus (6 hrs.)
– Speaking and writing focus (6 hrs.)
– Grammar focus (2 hrs.)
