Civil engineering: dealing with permanent structure for civilian use ; the design and construction of objects that are intended to be stationary, including buildings and houses, dams, tunnels, bridges, canals, station systems and stationary parts of transportation system—highways, airports, port facilities, and roadbeds for railroad.
