Course Management Changes for England in Spring Release 2015 Keywords: CM CM15y Course Management Overview UKPRN for School Census Autumn 2015 The DfE now requires that any Post 16 Learning Aim where the learning is provided other than at the school includes a UKPRN to identify the provider The UKPRN (UK Provider Reference Number) is a unique 8 digit identify maintained by the UKRLP (UK Register of Learning Providers) The DfE will not be defining a list of UKPRN lookups as schools can search for UKPRNs on the UKRLP website (https://www.ukrlp.co.uk)https://www.ukrlp.co.uk The search facility is good at finding establishments even if the school isnt sure of the full name of that establishment Course Management Overview UKPRN for School Census Autumn 2015 Provider UKPRNs must be added as a Course Classification before they can be used by Course Management This is achieved via a new facility in Tools | Academic Management | Course Manager | Maintain Course Classifications At this point there are no lookups for Provider UKPRN so Provider UKPRN will not be available as a classification in Maintain Course When one or more lookups are stored the Provider UKPRN becomes available to Maintain Course Course Management Overview UKPRN for School Census Autumn 2015 A provider can be associated with a course for all dates or between specified dates This is achieved via the Classification panel of Tools | Academic Management | Course Manager | Maintain Course Provider UKPRN is available as one or more Provider UPRN lookups have been stored If this has always been the only provider for this course, there is no need to added a date.
