The American Association of Endodontists, the American Academy of Periodontology and the
American College of Prosthodontists are pleased to present this multidisciplinary conference
focused on saving the natural dentition.
The program speakers include nationally and internationally recognized clinicians and scientists from all three specialties, providing a unique educational opportunity to identify the best dental practices and emerging treatment concepts for saving the natural dentition. The program features focused, compelling presentations that highlight comprehensive teaching and integrated treatment planning. Through this unparalleled collaborative weekend, you will gain new perspectives and skills to apply to your specialty practice with colleagues from across the restorative disciplines.
Course SynopsisPreservation of the natural dentition has always been the ultimate goal in dentistry. Endodontists, Periodontists and Prosthodontists alike believe that evidence-based treatment planning produces better patient outcomes. Each specialty has made sustained progress in the art and science of dentistry, making long-term preservation of the natural dentition more attainable. Recent scientific advances in regenerative procedures in both periodontal therapy and endodontics have made restoring lost periodontal tissues and the structural development of immature teeth more predictable than ever. We expertly serve our patients when a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach is used to determine the best possible course of treatment to restore oral health and function.
Contemporary research has also led to scientific advances that provide a better understanding of new treatment modalities that enhance the prognosis for tooth retention. Improved diagnostic and therapeutic techniques that include the concept of minimally invasive endodontics, periodontal esthetic procedures, regenerative periodontal and endodontic procedures, surgical microscopy and new endodontic technology, biomimetic restorations, and interdisciplinary treatment planning have all been highly valuable for patients with advanced dental disease.
