Aqualisa’s award-winning Digital processor box

Aqualisa’s Digital technology revolutionised showering in 2001 – and it all starts with this sophisticated processor box. By separating the valve from the controls, showers can be installed with minimal disruption to the bathroom.

What is so special about the processor?

• Hot and cold water flows into the processor and is precision blended to the exact temperature by the Digital thermistor.

• Factory pre-set at a family safe maximum temperature of 45ºC (the maximum temperature can be adjusted to suit your preference).

• the processor can be sited up to 10 metres away from the bathroom, offering installation flexibility, perhaps in a loft, airing cupboard or even under the bath.

• During installation the processor can be set to ‘eco-mode’ which is designed to conserve water usage without compromising performance.

• the processor performs an automatic cycle after a period of inactivity, by opening and closing the valves. this keeps all the internal mechanisms free and moving, so scale can’t build-up – prolonging the life of the shower.

Digital Divert processor box

Aqualisa’s digital technology now extends to ‘digital divert’. this means that divert is much easier to achieve with our digital products. no longer will a manual divert have to be buried in the wall. Simply attach the divert box to the main processor and the job is done.

the Digital Diverter box is approximately half the size of the HP/Combi processor, it simply connects to the digital processor and converts a single outlet digital product into a luxurious dual outlet system.

the technology allows either outlet to work separately or simultaneously if required. it can even be programmed to select the preferred outlet to operate first every time - ideal when switching the shower on with the remote control from outside the showering area.

Choose your flow setting and decide how powerful you would like your Rise Digital shower

Systems are supplied pre-set to a‘normal’ flow factory setting. However, you can easily programme this to a ‘High’ flow rate at the processor box if you prefer a more powerful experience.

Follow these simple steps to programme the flow rate:

1 turn the temperature control to full cold.

2 Push and hold the Start/Stop button for 5 seconds.

3 the LeD’s will flash slowly to indicate flow is set to ‘normal’.

4 Select the outlet to be programmed to ‘High’ flow by pushing the relevant Start/Stop button/s. the LeD’s will flash quickly.

5 Push and hold the Start/Stop until the LeD’s remain steady. Release the button and the LeD’s will switch off.

6 the flow setting has now been changed to ‘High’.

the Rise Digital shower control communicates with the processor via a discreet data cable. All that is required to deliver precision blended water to your shower is a single pipe.

Adjustable shower

Water saving functionality the following thoughtful water saving functions have been added to Rise Digital shower systems. they need to be programmed if required. Any combination can be chosen. it is worth noting that due to the characteristics of combination boilers ‘Warm up’ and ‘Pause’ are not recommended.

Choose your flow setting and decide how powerful you would like each of your outlets to be

the flow rate on your Rise Digital Divert system will be set to ‘normal’ when you receive it. However, you can adjust one or both outlets to flow at the higher flow rate to suit your preferences. For example, in a drencher head and hand shower configuration, you may set the drencher head to ‘High’ for a more powerful deluge experience with the hand shower set to ‘normal’.








NB: Either or both outlets can be set to ‘High’ flow.

Adjustable shower with wall mounted drencher

Dispenses perfectly blended water to either outlet as required – you can programme your favourite one to start first every time.

the schematics of popular digital configurations below show the processor and diverter, which blend and dispense the water, located in an airing cupboard, in the loft or even under the bath should space allow. Also shown are the data cables which connect the control and remote control to the processor box, communicating messages such as; Start/Stop, divert, depth and temperature.

Water saving functionality the following thoughtful water saving functions have been added to Rise Digital shower systems. they need to be programmed if required. Any combination can be chosen. it is worth noting that due to the characteristics of combination boilers ‘Warm up’ and ‘Pause’ are not recommended.

• Warm up mode

this will allow you save water with every shower. once the chosen temperature has been reached the water flow stops. in ‘Warm up’ mode the shower will hold the correct temperature for up to 5 minutes, so when you are ready to start showering just press the remote button or the shower control and step in.

• Pause

to save water when shampooing hair or shaving, just press pause. Rise Digital will hold the perfect temperature for up to 2 minutes.

• Timer

if you want to manage water usage and ideal for families with high demand on your shower. Decide how long you want each shower to last and programme it into the control. the water will stop as programmed every time.

However, you can adjust the bath fill or hand shower to flow at a higher flow rate to suit your preferences. For example, you may set the bath fill outlet to ‘High’ to fill the bath more quickly with the hand shower set to ‘normal’ to wash down the last of the soap after a bath.

Follow these simple steps:


2 Push and hold both outlet Start/Stop buttons for 5 seconds.

3 Both LeD lighting displays will flash slowly to indicate flow is set to ‘normal’.

4 Select the outlet/s to be programmed to ‘High’ flow by pushing the relevant Start/Stop button. the LeD lights will flash quickly.

5 to save the desired flow rate modes and exit, first push and hold the outlet button for 3 seconds until the lights remain on steady without flashing.

6 When released, the lights will turn off to indicate settings are saved.

NB: Either or both outlets can be set to ‘High’ flow.
