Dear Sir or Madam,

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a candidate for the position I am applying for. You will find my particular background, education, field experience and talents will be well suited to your company’s needs. My work history has seen its share of achievements being recognized for my training and leadership abilities.

My current position is Event Marketing Coordinator for Polar Bear Energy Solutions in Mukilteo, WA since March of this year. Prior to this I was Manager for the Retail and Event Marketing Department at C & R Boger Construction.

I have learned and accomplished a great deal in my five years of marketing/sales. One of my proudest moments to date occurred while I was an Assistant Manager at C & R Boger. In this capacity I was responsible for the Department’s North Division. During my first full year as Assistant Manager my Division had an 83% increase of gross sales ($5,684,896.65) and net sales increase of 85% ($3,799,914.04) from the prior fiscal year due to the quality and quantity of sales leads generated.

On another occasion, during the 2014 Evergreen State Fair, the leads I personally procured resulted in $144,750.73 gross sales volume (59% of gross sales). There were twelve net sales of $231,355.35. Nine of those net sales were my own totaling $142,330.73 (62% of net sales from the fair, 16% of total personal net good business since starting with the company).

In my recent capacity as Manager for C & R Boger I was able to significantly expand my skill-set. My responsibilities caused me to develop my administrative, training, leadership, B2B and B2C marketing and sales skills in particular. I believe that these skills, as well as my experience as a Brand Ambassador and other work experiences prior to my current employer, will make me an excellent candidate.
