    In order to accomplish ...■ Virtual option for all families■ Students come to buildings two times per week (AA/BB format)■ Students are instructed by their teachers four times per week■ Teachers instruct in-person and virtual simultaneously■ Students remain with their assigned teachers

    Phased Implementation for students returning to buildings:1st week - PreK - 5 students

    2nd week - Middle school students

    3rd week - High school students

  • Concurrent Teaching

    Concurrent Teaching - is delivering instruction simultaneously for students in-person and virtually for at least part of the lesson

    Systems across Maryland and the United States are using concurrent teaching.

    Concurrent teaching ensures the instructional model will meet the MSDE requirements of 3.5 hours of synchronous instruction per day across grades K -12 .
