This course teaches:

• Adult CPR and AED use• How to relieve choking victim• The American Heart Association’s research-proven

Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills

Students must register in advance by calling Duquesne University Health Service at 412.396.1650.

COST PER STUDENT IS $45 FOR CERTIFICATION AND MATERIALS.

Upon successful completion of the course, including a skills test, students receive a Basic Life Support/Health Care Provider, CPR/AED course completion card, valid for two years.

OPEN TO ALL DUQUESNE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, with limited or no medical training, who need a course completion card in CPR and AED training.
