SCREEN PRINTPrinting technique whereby a design is imposed on a mesh screen coated with various ink colors printed one at a time and transferred onto a printing surface leaving behind an image. ( also know as silk-screen) Application is available on all Cradle Gear items with the exception of singlets, mma shorts and socks.

FULL SUBLIMATIONProcess by which white fabric is dyed, cut and sewn to create your garment.

SPOT SUBLIMATIONProcess is used to enhance or value add an existing garment made of polyester or synthetic material. (light colored garments yield the highest quality of results- Dark fabric cannot be sublimated on)

EMBROIDERY The process or art of sewing or stitching a design on cloth. (process is ideal for images 5” or smaller)

HEAT TRANSFER VINYLSpecialty vinyl that can be used on certain fabrics/materials to create designs. Heat Transfer vinyl is made in single colors and has SPECIALTY options such as patterned, glitter, flocked, holographic, glow in the dark and reflective qualities.

SUBLIMATION or “DYE” SUBLIMATIONSpecialized ink used to reproduce an image when heated transform their visible solid state to a gaseous state. The sublimation requires a heat temperature range from 325 degrees- 375 degrees F. The design image originate on a piece of specialty paper or transfer media that is produced from a dye sublimation computer printer. Sublimation dye is known for its vibrant color and quality as the final image is dyed into the fabric of the garment. ( Works best with polyester or synthetic material, not recommended for cotton as cotton will fade and a minimal loss of 25% of color saturation will result.
