Gregoire created a real masterpiece with this tree house. It

looks like some seriously fun playing surface and the details are

wonderful. I would go as far as to say it looks professional.

    The roof looks like he

    Used toilet roll and glue

    and the trees below

    are exquisite!

Please feel free to get in

    touch and tell us how

    you did them!

    The support beams at

    the bottom give it that

    extra strength and look

    of sturdiness.

Have you ever wanted to make that convenient spell effect but

can’t think how? Well the clever minds of these three crafters

    put

    the “3-d printer” aspect of

the glue gun to very good

use! The first one I saw was

    this tornado effect by David

Cecil. He uses wire and hot

    glue to make a wonderful

    billowy wind spell marker!

    You could use this technique

    to build very

    big whirlwinds indeed!

Next up is this great thimble idea from Stephen Pilch. In this

idea he uses a thimbles non-stick properties to create a cage of

glue! This is very cool and could work for spell effects and even

spider web pods or similar for some big old nasty!

The last of these great spell effects is this blast template by Jeff

Jordan. Some clever colouring going on here, although I am not

sure if he used coloured glue or painted the glue but the

transparent template underneath is fun because you can seeright through to your miniatures below. Great stuff Jeff.

In this great craft Jonathon uses some pre made basing andleaves with some handy woodsies to produce some really

beautiful forest fillers in the form of little fern bushes. I think

that they look really wonderful and I think that they act as

    fantastic single square fillers.

    Check out his process overleaf.

    By Damon Sherman

In this quick little conversion Damon uses an old hulk miniature

to create this great and dynamic earth elemental. Using some

sand and a new base Damon

    completely transformed

    this miniature with some

    simple basecoat anddrybrush. A wonderful

    solution for “what should I

    do with those old heroclix”.

In this awesome method Taylor creates a super easy lookingdragon egg by simply using drawing pins

and a polystyrene egg. It’s a wonderful way to

utilise those eggs that you can get from

craft shops. I will definitely be

    trying this one out.

These Great “futuristic gardens” built for infinity (science fiction

futuristic wargame) are extremely sharp and to use a make-up

term “on point”. They’re very clean and clinical and it definitely

helps to provide that sci-fi feel. Awesome use of aquarium

    plants and their weird colours!

    By Gregory Lentz

In this simple but obvious craft Gregory has invented a cool way

of making chests in a similar fashion to hw we make dice in

school with the “cross” template but slightly modified so it ends

up like a usable and flexible chest. I think that this would be an

amazing way to begin making a chest mimic!

This issue brings some really fantastic ideas to light. As usual I

do not claim to have made up any of these ideas but I am very

honoured to log my favourites from the last few months in this

issue. I look forward to the next issue and remember, the faster

we post the faster they get produced! So go to your crafting
