    Easy Day Trip: Glendalough

    Glendalough comes from the Irish Gleann D Locha, which means valley of the two lakes. It is the site of a monastery founded by St. Kevin, the ruins fo which visitors can wander through. Beyond the monastery are many hours

    worth of hiking trails, leading into the lovely hills beyond the lakes a short oneeven leads to a little waterfall. There is a small visitors centre with toilets and aninformations display, but no food, so be sure to pack plenty of snacks and water!
