Cranberry and Immunity
In a study conducted by the Department of Food Science & Human
Nutrition at the University of Florida, researchers noted that cranberry
polyphenols may help reduce the number of symptoms associated with
the common cold and the flu.
In the randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study, subjects who
consumed a cranberry beverage for 10 weeks had fewer symptoms
than those who consumed the placebo.
