-. %ddin the other inredients in order of decreasin +alues untilthe softer oleainous and perhaps liquid inredients ha+e all beenthorouhl incorporated b stirrin.

2. !he ointment should be stirred entl until it coneals to ensure ahomoenous preparation.

3. 4owdered medicaments should be incorporated after the baseconeals usin a small portion of the base as le+iatin aent.
