Create a Word Cloud @ www.tagxedo.com From self-assessment surveys/tests you’ve done, identify the words/phrases that describe you. (Examples: Helping Others, Knowledge, Faith, Family, Fun…. Extrovert or Introvert? Sensor or Intuitive? Thinker or Feeler? Judger or Perceiver? Workplace Skills: Strengths?

Go to www.tagxedo.com to create a word cloudClick Create

Under Words, Click Load and enter the words/phrases that describe your personality and career interest areas AND your FULL NAME where it says “Enter Text.” You must enter twenty words/phrases other than your name.

HINTS: Leave out spaces for words you would like to stay together. Example: key ProblemSolver instead of Problem Solver – capitalize the first letter of each word. You may want to key your name once without spaces and once with spaces. Use all caps to emphasize a word.

Click Submit.

Click the X to close the dialog box. You may have to wait a minute for the words to load.

Under Options, Click Shape and Add words ……

Key, Who Am I? and choose the ChuckFive font or your favorite font.

Click Accept

Close the dialog box.

Do not worry if it does not look like the one below; Next, you will adjust your layout options.

Click Word I Layout Options and adjust the options on the Word tab as shown and click Accept

Next, Click the Layout Tab and adjust the options on the Layout tab as shown and click Accept . BIG HINT: If you slide the EmphasisAll the way to the left (0%) it seems to help “fill up” your words.

Adjust the Theme, Font, and Orientation as you wish.

Once you are satisfied with the look of your Word Cloud,

click Save and choose to save as a 4mp JPGon your computer in your Prep for College & Careers folder, save it as shown. Double check in Finder that your word cloud saved before exiting Tagxedo. There is no way to come back later and recover your word cloud from the website. You will use this word cloud in your Next project.
