Core Dev Teams own build, test, deploy, monitor, on call, debugging, incident response, capacity, Postmortems, etc.
Non-core Dev & Ops Teams own infrastructure, automation, network, dev tools, expert services, etc.

Socialize your vision – relentlessly; get people excited.
Walk the talk: be on the front lines; engage with customers; be on call.
Go to people's desks and tap them on their shoulder; hold them accountable.
Learn all the acronyms.
