traditional paper cutsnowflake combined with a Chrismon. A "Chrismon" is
a medieval Latin wordmeaning a symbol of
Christ or Christianity, or a "Christ-Monogram."
Crowns, crosses, doves, stars, and butterflies are a
few examples of a Chrismon ornament. A
Chrismon Christmas tree is adorned with
Chrismons, white lights, and gold balls, or gold
garland. All Chrismons are white, or white and gold. White represents God's
holiness, gold symbolizes the glory of God.
