Werecommendyoustartbyreflectingontheimpactofcurrentprovisionandreviewingthepreviousspend.UndertheOfstedSchoolsInspectionFramework,inspectorswillassesshoweffectivelyleadersusethePrimaryPEandSportPremiumandmeasureitsimpactonoutcomesforpupils,andhoweffectivelygovernorsholdthemtoaccountforthis.

Schoolsarerequiredtopublishdetailsofhowtheyspendthisfundingaswellasontheimpactithasonpupils’PEandsportparticipationandattainmentbytheendofthesummertermorby31July2019atthelatest.Werecommendregularlyupdatingthetableandpublishingitonyourwebsitethroughouttheyear,asevidenceofyourongoingreviewintohowyouareusingthemoneytosecuremaximum,sustainableimpact.ToseeanexampleofhowtocompletethetablepleaseclickHERE.

Thisyear,duetoourHALweekphysicalactivitysessions,ongoingtastersanddevelopinganextra-curriculartimetable,whichincludestraditionalandnon-traditionalsports,thechildrenhavehadaccesstoawidevarietyofsportsandphysicalactivities.Wenowhave362childrenattendingextra-curricularclubsafterschool,whichisaremarkableimprovementonpreviousyears.Thishasensuredthatourchildrenarebecomingmorephysicallyactiveandhashelpedthemtoachievetheir60activeminutesperday.OverallImpact:Morechildrenwilldevelopaloveforsportandphysicalactivity.Somechildrenmaycontinuethisinacluboroutsideofschool.
