Text guidelines✔TRY to stay under 7 words per line✔TRY to stay under 7 lines per slide
– Not always possible, but a good guideline to keep slides from being too text heavy
✔Avoid long sentences✔Use periods or don’t, but be consistent ✔Use bullets or numbered lists, not
paragraphs
Text guidelines, cont. ✔Be sure text contrasts with background✔Fancy fonts are hard to read✔ALL CAPS ARE HARD TO READ✔Avoid abbreviations and acronyms✔Limit punctuation marks!!!!!
