The annual Healthy U Fair is the kick-off event for the

annual series of Flu Shot Clinics sponsored by the Student

Health Service. This is one of the highlights of the Healthy

U Fair. Last year, more than 500 students took advantage

of the Flu Shot station at the Healthy U Fair. This year we

hope that even more students visit our Flu Shot station.

PLEASE NOTE: All students must present their Pitt ID card to get

a free flu shot !

Meet Our Chefs on Campus

Market Central’s Executive Chef, Corey Hawk, is

in our spotlight this month. He is a talented culinarian that

we are happy to have on our team. This is Chef Corey’s

second time as Executive Chef of Market Central.

Originally, he played an instrumental role in the opening of

Market Central. Chef Corey took a break from Market to

give back to the community using his culinary skills. First,

he worked for the Pittsburgh Food Bank and continued his giving back at Meals

on Wheels. The Post-Gazette found his work noteworthy enough to be featured in

their newspaper! Lucky for us, Chef Corey made his way back to Market Central

in October 2013 because he missed all of the action! Be sure to stop in and say

“Hey!” to him if you get the chance!
