Creating Infographics with MS
PowerPoint
Start with a new slide and change slide orientation
to Portrait
Change the size of the slide to better fit in a blog
post – I use 6” wide, 11 or 12 “ height

Start creating your infographic – I use the Drawing
section and worry about design later
The shapes in Design accept text, I just double
click and start typing, and add my own images
Now have fun choosing a cool Design – just scroll
through each one until one works for you
When you finish your Design, save as a PDF –
choose Minimum Size for online publishing
When the PDF saves, it’ll open in a new window;
change view to what you see below
And then…
Change the size so that you can see the entire infographic on
one page and then Print Screen
Open MS Paint and paste the screen print there
Crop the image to the infographic and rotate view to portrait
Save as your new image and upload to your site.
I created three infographics this weekend…each took
less than 30 minutes
Happy Designing!!!
