Creating the album art

Create new projectI created a new project with the precise

resolutions and appropriate dimensions for a Cd cover. This is an important part of the process as if I had made the dimensions too big, I would not have been able print out the cover in the format of an actual Cd cover.

Change Colour balance

I added the frosty effect by altering the colour balance of the main Cd panel.

Add images and text

I used the text tool to insert the title blame game and edited it to make it glow and purple. The heart was an image that was taken from Google however it was still edited to make it ours. The trees in the background was a picture taken by myself and inserted into the cover.

More text

I added more text to inform the buyer the artist and the record label that produced the song. This was again simply done by using the text tool.

Finishing touches

After more refining of colours and pixel density the album cover was finished. To finish it off I added the parental advisory logo as a warning that the song may not be suitable for children.
