I HAVE NOOOOOO
IDEA!
I’LL EXPLAIN!
CREATIVE COMMONS LICENSES
Creative common licenses are six copyright licenses that allow the distribution of copyrighted works.
THE LICENSES
THERE ARE SIX LICENSES, WHAT ARE THEY??
THE FIRST LICENSE!!
ATTRIBUTION
ATTRIBUTIONThis is the most accommodating license offered. It lets others distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon your work. They can do this as long as they credit you for your work.
THE SECOND LICENSE!!

.

Others can do things to your creations. They can do this if they credit you for their work, AND if they license their new creations under the identical terms. Their new works based on yours will carry the same license.
THE THIRD LICENSE!!ATTRIBUTION-NoDERIVS
ATTRIBUTION-NoDERIVS
This third license allows for redistribution, commercial, and non commercial. This happens if your information is passed along unchanged and in whole. It has to have credits to you.
THE FOURTH LICENSE!!ATTRIBUTION-
NonCOMMERCIAL
ATTRIBUTION-NonCOMMERCIAL
This fourth license lets others use your work and do things with it, like the previous licenses. Although their new works have to acknowledge you and be non commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms
THE FIFTH LICENSE!!
ATTRIBUTION-NON COMMERCIAL-SHAREALIKE

Others can do things with your work, but they have to credit you and and license their new creations under the identical terms
THE SIXTH LICENSE!!ATTRIBUTION-NON
COMMERCIAL-NoDERIVS
ATTRIBUTION-NON COMMERCIAL-NoDERIVS
The most restrictive license of the six! This license only lets others download your work and share them with others as long as they credit you. They can’t change your work at all! You also can’t use them commercially.
WHAT DO ALL CREATIVE COMMONS LICENSES HAVE IN COMMON?
I’LL TELL YOU!
CREATIVE COMMONS HELPS CREATORS !!
Every Creative Commons license ensures that the licensors get the credit for their work.
AROUND THE WORLD!
All Creative Commons licenses works around the world. It lasts as long as applicable copyright lasts.
HELPS THE CREATORS!
All Creative Commons licenses help licensors with our tools: retain copyright while allowing others to copy, distribute, and make uses of their work.
THREE “LAYERS” OF LICENSES
Creative commons licenses incorporate a unique “three-layer” design. This helps the licenses more understandable.

1. “Legal Code”: All licenses begins as a legal tool, in a kind of language and texts that most lawyers know and love.

2. “Human Readable”: Most creators such as educators and scientists aren’t lawyers. Because of this, licenses are also available in a format that normal people can read (called Commons Deed).

3. “Machine Readable”: The final layerrecognizes that software (search engines, music editing, etc.) plays a big role in the creation, copying, discovery, and distribution of works. To make it easier for the Web, there is a “machine readable” version of the license. It is in a format that search engines and other technologies can understand.
