Horizontal Track FIWARE + Business
The aim is to help SMEs/teams to develop upscale their ideas towards a real scalable business with FIWARE open source ready-made technology components.
FIWARE is an open cloud-based infrastructure for cost-effective creation and delivery of Future Internet applications and services. These APIs are public and royalty-free, driven by the development of an open source reference implementation which accelerates the availability of commercial products and services.

Prizes up to 50.000 €
- In Hack4FI top 5 ideas with business potential will be awarded with 25.000 € to develop further the idea (April 10.000€ + June 15.000€)- In June the best 2 teams will get
additional 25.000 € (June: 10.000€ + September 15.000€)
- All the projects will be reviewed by external reviewers

#4 Smart, agile and user-oriented - use at least 1 FIWARE enabler
- utilize at least 1 open data set- solve user needs or problems - is related to creative industries, cultural heritage or other Hack4FI objectives
Objectives
1st phase- to create a working solution/service- revenue model - by the end of June
2nd phase - piloting of the service - business plan for next 12 months - by the end of September
