SYNOPSIS
Finding a great need in the young talents without the necessary resources to carry out
their dreams, a new era in the cinematographic field in Guatemala is born.
After our experience producing Perla de Mar, the first 100% Guatemalan series. We are
convinced of the talent and potential that we have in our country, for them we want to
recognize and support it. The festival seeks to find talent in different universities and
recognize those who every day seek a space in the field of cinema.

In order for this dream to become a reality, the
way started by making formats and
investigating the educational crisis in which we
live today, unfortunately today not only are red
numbers, but the results are truly serious.
The sequels can be
observed in the
streets and are also
reflected in
unemployment. So
this is what led us to
provide education in a
free way to the
population.
Thank God, the acceptance of this project has
been 100%, because we have not had a
meeting with any person, institution or
organization that does not see it with good
eyes.

mi país’’ range from clapping to the noblest
part when the tears run down the cheeks of the
person receiving the information, and the
determination of the Sholben Media team,
which is what has made this dream come true

‘’educando mi país’’ is ready to start its
activities where they can educate 10,000
people, community, because that developed a
unique technology platform, unique content,
which will have to be at least 15 years old, so
access to the platform is simple, all these users
will learn to read and write through specialized
videos sent to their cell phone.
In addition to these two great benefits for the life of a person, those
who acquire their certificate of the approved courses, may begin their
studies to attend primary and secondary school.
The latter was raised and authorized within the project ‘’educando mi
país’’, since the studies carried out by Unesco indicate that Guatemala
is one of the countries with the highest rate in Latin America of
dropping secondary education with 52.2%. So the intention is to
capture the attention of adolescents and young people who have not
started the secondary level or abandoned by x or y reason, we also
want to encourage adults who, at the time, did not have the
opportunity to study primary and therefore the average level or left
their training up to sixth grade.
It is important to mention that due to the lack of education for the
children of yesterday and today, it brings poverty, because according
to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean
(ECLAC), people with a low economic level reach 30.7. % in Latin
America, equivalent to 186 million individuals.

with ‘’educando mi país’’, because we know that if a person learns to
read, write, starts primary school and continues with the intermediate
level, they can seek to improve, they will not be satisfied with what

‘’Educando mi país’’ starts with a strategic alliance, which is already signed with the leading telecommunications

university students will be given, but these will cost approximately Q40.00 so that they can obtain a diploma.
At the moment the student completes his studies in Educando mi País, he will obtain a diploma. For the time
being, Sholben Media is in negotiations with the municipalities so that these documents will be delivered, if this
were not done, it would be carried out through events with Conalfa and its allies in each department of
Guatemala.

curriculum, where we can give classes in the same
way that was carried out in the initial phase in a
period of 15 months , since it is a job with which,
according to the indicators, we can radically lower the
illiteracy that exists in the country and boost growth
in the regions that are most in need.
The use of the cell phone nowadays, more than a
luxury has become a necessity and people who can
not practice reading or writing, also have a mobile
phone that, although they do not use it to send text
messages or read news in the social networks, they
have it so that their friends and family can
communicate with them through calls, to see
photographs or videos, it is for this reason that we
seek that this tool can also be a benefit for them.
At the moment, we have analyzed every positive and
negative aspect we can have, but something that has
been very clear is that education is the pillar of any
country and is the center of personal growth that we
inherit as people, in order to increase our knowledge
all the days.
The intention is not only to dazzle growth, but it is
also important to mention the drop in the rate of
violence when a country has a better education. By
adding to education, we also add culture, work,
honesty, responsibility and many more values that
make the human being do not covet what the other
has to the point of violence against others in order to

cell phones, even vehicles.

facilitating our fellow citizens, to have access to this educational training in a fun, healthy and entertaining way that
not only educates them, but also certifies them through diplomas that will help them grow their jobs, improve their

We believe that, with the support of international organizations, who will contribute directly to education with a
minimum of two years, we will be able to generate multiple alliances to reach the most needed population.
Our mission is: to educate 120 thousand people in a year, that education in the country is phone learning and that we

Every day a text message will be sent to them,

access a navigation page with zero cost and it will

corresponding classes.

that each student will have the opportunity to see
the audiovisual material only twice in a 24-hour
period.

will receive a text message reminding them of
their classes.
