Best Practices: Best Practices: HS teacher recommends “B” or better students for CBE

(per articulation agreement) Some CC CBE requires a lot time to proctor: look for a way

to proctor over 2 class periods at HS site HS teacher provides “recommended” grades; CC instructor: final grades

Remove risk: CC records only passing grades New “repeat code:” Record CBE grades of “B” or better,

only CC instructor provides letter to student: eg,

“Congratulations! You have earned x # of units in Child Dev, good for X # of degrees/certificates. Please consider continuing your education at SRJC after HS graduation.”

Debrief each fall to strengthen articulation + CBE outcomes
