JAYBEE Laminations Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1988 as a manufacturer of CRGO Silicon steel cores for the emerging transformer industry of India. With two units located in Noida (UP), the manufacturing facilities are centrally positioned for supply of all kinds of CRGO Silicon steel products for transformers - power/distribution and special applications.

With state of the art production facilities spread across a total area of 115,000 sq. ft., we have established our core competencies in the design, development and manufacturing of CRGO steel cores conforming to global standards of quality.

MISSION VISION

CRGO steel is imported in the form of mother coils from reputed steel producers in

USA, Japan, Korea, Germany, China, Russia etc. Each coil conforms to the

speci�cations of Bureau of Indian Standards of quality (IS 3024). Each lot of raw

material is accompanied with Mill Test Certi�cate (MTC) and other relevant chain of

documents that can be produced at customer's request. At JAYBEE, all grades of

CRGO steel in conventional, Hi-B and domain re�ned quality are available.

Testing

Testing of raw materialFor every lot of CRGO coils received, samples are checked for electrical and physical properties of the material. These samples are tested in accordance with IS 649 for core loss, insulation resistance, stacking factor and bends.

Testing of �nished goods: 'Before dispatch, various parameters such as length, width, burr level, stack height, thickness, surface insulation and edge camber are checked. No load losses are tested for assembled cores’

Characteristics of CRGO electrical steel are affected by impurities, grain size, grain orientation and surface insulation. Even minor stresses, burrs, edge cambers or bends can increase core losses and magnetizing current signi�cantly. Jaybee Laminations has the facilities to ensure proper handling and stress free processing of the material.
