crit feedback 24/10/12

Here is the feedback for my concepts in the concept crit on the 24th October. Notes taken from the crit: - The name 'chocolot' made me think of lots of chocolate, not lots of flavours. Maybe expand on the theme, lots of exotic flavours (off the wall). - Extensive research, maybe research how other food groups design their flavour logos, like cakes and yoghurts. - What is the reference of the circle on the packaging? Need to be careful it doesnt over power the logo. Consider different position and size. - Really getting on with the chocolot packaging. Think about how the chocolate will sit in the boxes. - The logo chocolot works on all varied styles and coloured background but make sure that mint is mint coloured and not green. - Packaging would be difficult to stock with packaging with spikes and circles on top. - Typeface on packaging for ingredients doesnt really communicate chocolate and food. - Illustrations are very strong with the Puffin style and I feel they depict how they actually look. - Banner gives the childish feel. - Nice touch with the colour in yourself in front cover. - Quite a good range of work from your briefs, vary in products when youre creating. - Good research, all relevant, good to see mock ups. - Why are the cand ton the logo thinner? - How would some of your packaging sit on the shelf?

Here is the feedback for my concepts in the concept crit on the 24th October. Notes taken from the crit:

- The name 'chocolot' made me think of lots of chocolate, not lots of flavours. Maybe expand on the theme, lots of exotic flavours (off the wall).

- Extensive research, maybe research how other food groups design their flavour logos, like

cakes and yoghurts.

- What is the reference of the circle on the packaging? Need to be careful it doesnt over power the logo. Consider different position and size.

- Really getting on with the chocolot packaging. Think about how the chocolate will sit in the

boxes.

- Why are the ‘c’ and ‘t’ on the logo thinner?

- How would some of your packaging sit on the shelf?
