This session will focus on: raising the level of students’ reading beyond simple comprehension to active engagement with texts.
strategies that will enable them to be selective in their response to questions relating to texts across the curriculum thinking skills and cognitive language listening and speaking activities based on text to develop critical thinking across the curriculum analytical, evaluative and critical writing
Suitable for all staff working from Year 2 to Year 11.
