Green  Dragonfly  Crochet  Top  Dress    Crochet  Square  Pattern  

Using a 4mm hook and 8 ply cotton make as many squares as you need to, which when joined, = chest measurement for the dress top.

1. Chain 4 and join with a slipstitch to form a circle. 2. Chain 3, double crochet into the circle x 2, chain 2, * double crochet into the

circle x 3, chain 2*, repeat between * and * 2 more times - 4 clusters of 3 double crochets with 2 chains in between. Join with a slipstitch to finish the round.

3. Slip stitch to the next 2 chain space: chain 3, double crochet into the space x 2, chain 2, double crochet into the space x 3, chain 1, * double crochet into the next 2 chain space x 3, chain 2, double crochet into the space x 3, chain 1*, repeat between * and * 2 more times. Each 2 chain space (4) should have 2 clusters of 3 double crochets separated by 2 chains.

4. Chain 2 and single crochet into each stitch around, making 3 single crochets into each 2 chain space (which form the corners of the square), join with a slip stitch into the starting chain to finish the round.
