what this means…my 2 cents

• Bing and others pay a boat load to Navteq -TomTom for data

• Google already went rogue...owns their data

• OSM gives access to free data to Bing-others.

• Bing providing data to OSM to improve product and routing

why should we care?

• we are open data providers and local authority

• partner with community to provide data for OSM

• you may get value/data back
