The location of Chongqing is on the edge of the Yungui Plateau, intersected by the Jialing River and on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Chongqing geographic coordination is 105°17'-110°11' east longitude and 28°10'-32°13' north latitude. 470km from west to east and 450km from north to south. Chongqing is very hilly, it contains mountains such as Daba Shan (North), Wu Shan (East), Wuling Shan (Southeast) and Dalou Mountain (South). The major rivers in Chongqing are Yangtse River, Jialing River, Wujiang River, Fujiang River, Qijiang River and Daninghe River.

The best time to visit Chongqing is spring, autumn and winter, because Chongqing has a mild winter and hot summer. One can enjoy and explore the wonderful scenery of the magnificent Three Gorges by travelling along the Changjiang River. The Chongqing Museum located in Loquat Hill is another must-see in Chongqing.
