    The Shackleton has not fared very well, sofar as conservation is concerned, mainly dueto the attentions of the scrap merchantsand official arsonists. Only one guaranteedflying example is left in the world. The fol-lowing aircraft, or parts of them, have beenconfirmed at the time of writing.
