Overview If you want to work in bars and restaurants, you’ll need this course.

Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) provides you with the skills and knowledge to serve alcohol legally and responsibly in a licensed venue in Queensland.

Topics Covered - Understand your obligations under the law. - Identify customers to whom alcohol service may be refused. - Responsibly assist customers to drink within appropriate limits. - Assist alcohol affected customers.

Duration Approximately 5 hours to complete.

You will be issues with your nationally recognised Statement of Attainment once you completed and passed all the required assessments.

Entry Requirements Though the training package does not stipulate any entry requirements, EIP uses the following criteria for entry into this qualification: Domestic Students: - (covers Australian citizens, residents and any other visa holders, permitted to study in Australia, except those on student visas). - Age 18+ o LLN test (Depending on test results, they will be placed into the appropriate FSK level I or II offered at EIP). - Year 10+ or equivalent preferable (however, not mandatory)EIP International College does not accept applications from students under 18 years of age. International Students on Student Visas: - Age 18+ (if course offered in the future).

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) There are no RPL arrangements for this course at EIP International College.

Credit Transfer You may be eligible for a credit transfer if you have previously undertaken training through a Registered Training Organisation. Credit transfer may be granted for one or more units or a full certificate level. Three major factors need to be considered: How current the qualification is, does the previously obtained qualification map to the current version of the course or unit, and if the training was undertaken with an Australian Registered Training Organisation. If you think you may be eligible for credit transfer you will need to provide the following: A certified copy of the original statement of attainment and/or certificate is to be provided for a credit transfer.
