Chapters 6 and 7

Is fundamental that the young players play without afraid of lose and enjoy the game.

The 1-4-3-3 formation (with 2 wingers) is ideal to the learning process.

To dribble training, put some cones in line. Players with a ball in foot, must go throw the line making slalom. With each step, the ball must be touch alternatively with the outside and inside of the foot.

Chapters 6 and 7

To difficulty increase try with the “bad” leg, increase execution velocity or put the cones near.

When in difficulty conditions we can do a slalom with the ball close to foot without look, we can say that we achieve a certain grade of perfection.

Train the dribble with one leg and the other. The essential of this action is put the body between the opponent and the ball.

Chapters 6 and 7

The ball conduction is realized at a high speed running.

The more simple method to train the ball conduction in speed is the “increment”: start in a rest position, make the ball “run” increasing velocity progressively while we try have control of the ball.

Chapters 6 and 7

A more difficulty method to train the ball conduction is the 1v.1 situation. The forward have the ball and must run at high velocity towards opponent. This exercise can be done near the lateral line, alternating left with right foot or passing the ball of one foot to the other.

Messi and Maradona are perfect examples in the execution of this actions.
