crystal and filigree necklace
DESCRIPTION
Materials: -chain for necklace in length of your choice (18-24" is good) -3 headpins -7 eye pins -lobster clasp -jump rings -Ten 8x6mm crystal beads -Nine 15x17mm filigree components Tools: -chain nose pliers -round nose pliers -wire cutters -ruler Directions: 1. Arrange your crystal and filigree beads in the as shown so they can be strung in order. 2. Take the 3 bottom crystals and put them onto headpins for loop dangles. Take your ruler and measure your wire to trim 3/8" above the bead. 3.Take your round nose pliers and create a loop above the bead taking the wire so it goes past itself for secure closure and kink it back a bit to make it straight. Repeat for the other head pins & eye pins. 4. Align all of the eye pin loops together taking two pairs of chain nose pliers to each of the loops and twisting onto the same plane. 5. Now you can attach your filigree beads to your loops of the eye pins and crystal beads (as shown) making sure to securely close the loops 6. You should have five attached dangles now. 7. Attach each dangle to a jump ring so they hang straight. Attach two jump rings for the shortest dangles. 8. Once those are attached, hang the longest dangle in the center of the chain and attach the others accordingly to every other chain link (or how far you want them spaced apart.) 9. Finally, you can attach the ends of the chain to a lobster clasp and another jump ring for closure & you're done!TRANSCRIPT
