Discover Crystal Springs Crystal Springs was once a stop on the stockman’s route to the coast where they grazed their cattle. Nowadays, the traveller can take a break underneath a thick grove of peppermints at this lovely camping site. D’Entrecasteaux National Park www.dec.wa.gov.au Must see Crystal Springs is a gateway to the western section of Walpole-Nornalup National Park and eastern section of D’Entrecasteaux National Park. It is the ideal place to base your explorations of the area as it is situated close to the highway. The campground is nestled under the shade of peppermint trees. Getting there Approximately 12 kilometres west of Walpole on the South West Highway, turn south onto Mandalay Beach Road. Crystal Springs campground is located a few hundred metres off the highway. Travelling time About 20 minutes from Walpole. What is there? Crystal Springs has lovely shaded spaces for tents, picnic tables, wood barbeques and toilets. Nearby sites Places that you can visit from Crystal Springs include Mandalay Beach, Hush Hush Beach, Long Point, Little Long Point, Lost Beach and Banksia Camp. Mandalay Beach is the only beach that is accessible by two-wheel-drive in this area. Fees Camping fees are compulsory at Crystal Springs. National park entry fees apply in D’Entrecasteaux National Park. Please refer to the Park visitor fees brochure. These fees contribute to the provision and maintenance of recreation facilities and visitor services in this park.
