Hexis UK Ltd, manufacturer and distributor of sign vinyl and digital print media are proud tolaunch a new generation in solvent acrylic adhesive technology called Crystalblue.Crystalblue features a solvent acrylic adhesive technology that has been developed to helpimprove the images and graphics printed when using solvent, eco-solvent and UV Curableinkjet printers.

If you examine digital vinyl which has grey or black adhesive, it can look very dull inappearance and the printed result may not be as vibrant as could be expected. Also, vinylproducts with clear adhesive allow the target substrate to "show through" the printed vinyl,reducing the clarity of the printed image itself.

In the case of all white colours, when blue pigment is added, the product becomes abrighter white. The Crystalblue adhesive technology is a special colour blue, not too lightand not too dark. It has been specially formulated to be the most effective shade of blue tosupport the opacity of the vinyl film, when applying on to a dark substrate. As well as helping the white vinyl to look brighter, all prints that are printed onto a Crystalblue mediaalso appear brighter and sharper.

The permanent Crystalblue solvent acrylic adhesive technology allows the product to stickto a wider variety of surfaces, such as painted walls, foam board, acrylic, steel, compositealuminium sheet, vehicles and glass. All Crystalblue media has an ultra white high glossfinish with a fast drying formulation.

The Crystalblue adhesive technology is available on two products. The first is HD3801 a100µm monomeric calendered pvc vinyl with permanent Crystalblue solvent acrylic adhe-sive technology on a Digital lay flat liner with up to 4 years outdoor durability. This productis suitable for all indoor and exhibition graphics, floor graphics and short term outdoor vehicle graphics and signage.

The second product is HD5701 a 75µm polymeric calendered pvc vinyl with permanent Crystalblue solvent acrylic adhesive technology on aPE coated Digital layflat liner with up to 7 years outdoor durability. This product is suitablefor all outdoor vehicle graphics and signage.

White gloss, monomeric vinyl, opaque, permanent, Crystalblue adhesive.

HD3801 is a ultra white gloss, 100µm monomeric calendered vinyl, with a solvent acrylic Crystalblue adhesive on a 120gr/m² digital Kraft paper liner.HD3801 stays bright even on the darkest substrates, with an excellent colour brilliance & more vibrant prints than conventional grey adhesive. Thisproduct has an ultra gloss surface with an extreme fast drying formulation. HD3801 is designed to be highly resistant to solvent aggression during theprinting process and will guarantee very good printing performance on any solvent based inkjet printer. Suitable for application onto flat surfaces.We recommend lamination with V402CG or V402CM.
