Take a trip away from Christmas, if only for a night, with us as we explore the flavours and textures that give Thai cuisine that perfect balance of sweet and sour, salty and spicy! Friday 8th Mathieu Barriquault Chocolate Master Class 7pm – 9.30pm 60 Chocolate lovers of the world, unite! Humour your inner Willy Wonka on an evening of pure, unadulterated chocolate indulgence. Budding chocolatiers, or just those with a penchant for the sweet, will discover the art behind creating a truly delectable chocolate dessert that will impress any perspective party guests or indeed, make a lovely, homemade present this festive season. A night not to be missed! Saturday 9th Robert Jacob Edible Gift Workshop 10am – 2pm 90 A mouthful of heaven! Join us for this hands on class where you will learn to create beautiful, colourful macaroons, festive cupcakes and biscuits. Perfect for homemade gifts, or just for a treat for yourself! Monday – Friday 11th- 15th D|F Tutors Transition Year Class 10am – 2pm 250 This course is designed to develop students' culinary skills while educating them about the benefits of healthy eating and nutritious food. We aim to encourage our budding chefs to foster a desire to cook for themselves, friends & families. A must for any growing gourmand! A recipe booklet, food costs and lunch each day is included. Saturday 16th Robert Jacob Christmas Cake Decorating 10am –2pm 90 Christmas wouldn’t truly be Christmas without a cake to decorate! This year, blow friends and family away with a stunning cake made by you, decorated by you. In this hands on class, you will learn the delicate art of piping and create cute, festive cake toppers to add that little extra sparkle to your Christmas cake! Thursday 21st Niall Murphy Tapas & Rioja 7pm – 9.30pm 60 If you love Spanish food and wine, there’s only one place to be on November 21st, as The Cookery School invites you to take a culinary journey through Northern Spain. Niall Murphy & Laura Peterson will host a Spanish master class, with participants learning how to match Rioja wines to sumptuous traditional tapas. Niall will prepare an exciting range of classic tapas to complement the much loved, flavoursome and fragrant Rioja wines. Then just sit back and enjoy the tastes, textures and flavours of Spain! In class students will build an extensive & varied library of recipes that are sure to impress family and friends! Enter the rabbit hole and indulge your inner child for a morning of delicious treats. Niall Murphy will demonstrate how to create the perfect coffee morning accompaniments while you sit back and enjoy them! Designed to teach students how to cook a variety of different dishes, the students will learn how to make delicious recipes from scratch and at the end of each class they will enjoy the fruits of their labour.
