TRANSCRIPT
The Frequency Translating Concept provides:
• High output powers (20W), which is comparable to
Macro Base Stations
• Reduced site deployment costs through low isolation
requirements
• Quick & easy site acquisition since there is no need for
line-of-sight between base station and repeater
Due to the increased isolation requirement in EDGE environments,
the Frequency Translating technology plays an even larger role as a
cost-effective alternative to base stations as well as to conventional
repeaters.
Avitec’s repeaters are monitored by an advanced and user-friendly
supervision system that leads to less outage time and thereby to a
greater revenue.

The CSFT1822 consists of 2 units, a Donor Unit at the BTS site and a Remote Unit at the repeater site. The repeater can be congured to handle up to 2 GSM/EDGE carri-ers.
Quick deployment and cost-effec-tive coverage in rural areas, using the CSFT1822.
