• The data visualiza on vendor’s largest self-service repor ng rollout in Australasia to date;

• 5-fold increase in business requests for access to data and new data sets within technology;

• The development of a mul speed IT delivery service that allowed the business to choose the engagement type;

Case Study – Self-service repor ng implementa on

Synopsis

A review of BI consump on by business sponsors and consumers iden fied a high degree of dissa sfac on with BI delivery within the organisa on. Typical commentary followed that BI reports took too long to produce, were too expensive and lacked interac ve capabili es to allow the customer to analyse and discover.

A thorough review of BI was conducted and a number of recommenda ons approved and implemented. One recommenda on was the implementa on of a ‘self-service repor ng’ capability aimed at providing the business with a level of repor ng autonomy.
